Temporary Map Changes
To safely manage social distancing, guest flow will be temporarily adjusted and some areas identified on the zoo map may not be accessible.
We have made a revised map to help you follow the new flow, find hand sanitizing stations, and identify other important changes for health and safety.
Admission to the zoo will be through the West Entrance only

Zoomazium is closed until further notice.
RENTALS
Mobility equipment including wheelchairs and ECV scooters will be available to rent at the Guest Services locations inside the West Entrance and near the ZooStore at the South Entrance. These items will be thoroughly cleaned between rentals for your safety.
- Wheelchair (non-electric) $10.00*
- Electric mobility scooter or ECV $25.00**
Items that will not be available to rent at this time include strollers, double strollers, wagons, and handheld items such as binoculars and umbrellas.
*Recipients of EBT/Washington Quest, WIC assistance, and foster and kinship families can receive a 50% discount on wheelchair rentals. Must present verification such as EBT/Washington Quest card, WIC voucher/card or appointment folder, DCYF caregiver authorization form, or foster caregiver ID card or license certificate.
**Conditions: Must leave $200 refundable deposit and valid driver’s license; 18 years and older, or 16 years with parent/guardian permission; 400-pound weight limit.

Food & Drink
Food service and grab-and-go options are available throughout the zoo during regular zoo hours. Indoor dining and seating is available at the 1899 Grove, but is limited to 25% capacity. The Gather and Graze Café will be closed for the remainder of the winter.

Mobile Ordering Now Available
All food & beverage locations will now offer mobile ordering. Signs with QR codes will be stationed at the entrance gate and food locations to scan using your phone which will direct you to the mobile ordering system. Non-mobile orders are still permitted at food and beverage locations.
Our Dining Options are Going Cashless
Starting Tuesday, December 1, 2020, all of our dining options at the zoo will be going cashless for the safety of our guests and staff. The following payment options will still be accepted: credit, debit, Apple Pay and Samsung Pay.
1899 Grove
Grab-and-go and outdoor seating available. Indoor dining and seating is available at the 1899 Grove, but is limited to 25% capacity. Located on the main loop path across from Zoomazium, formerly known as Rain Forest Food Pavilion.
Gather & Graze Cafe
Currently closed for the winter.
Located across from the Wildlife Theater.
Carts & Outposts
Wild Cup coffee cart near the Education Center and across from the African Savanna.
ZooStore
ZooStore will be open at the West Entrance near penguins only.
ZooStore at the South Entrance near the African Savanna is closed at this time.

ZooStore operates at <25% capacity and complies with all Washington state safety guidelines for retail spaces. Guests are asked to maintain at least six feet of social distance from others while browsing and shopping.

NURSING AREAS
Temporarily Closed
For the health and safety of our guests, including nursing mothers and children, most indoor and high-touch spaces, such as the mother’s/nursing rooms, are closed at this time. Mother’s are welcome to nurse anywhere they feel comfortable.
