RULES & GUIDELINES

Entries must be received by October 10, 2025 to qualify for prizes

  • One card per person. Group or team participation is welcome for fun, but only individual cards are eligible for prizes.
  • Complete rows of five fundraising, species-saving and zoo-experience challenges across, down or diagonally.
  • One action = one square. Each square must be completed with a separate activity. You’re welcome to complete multiple zoo-based tasks in a single visit. For example, you can ride the carousel, take a selfie with an animal statue, and bring a friend all on the same day. However, for any square that says, “Join us for a Zoo Event,” each one must be fulfilled by attending a different event. No double-counting a single event for multiple squares. (Qualifying events listed below.)
  • Some tasks may require purchase. We’ve designed the challenge to be accessible, but some squares may involve buying a ticket, attending an event, or giving or raising money to support the zoo. Your support through this campaign helps support the zoo and our world-class animal care, species-saving programs locally and globally and education programs!
  • Did you know that you can get free passes to the zoo through Seattle Public Library? See the Resources section below for more information.
  • All ages are welcome! Adults must submit cards on behalf of participants under age 13.
  • Be honest! We count on our community to complete actions on the honor system. This is a fun challenge with supporting your zoo at heart.
  • Submit completed cards by October 10, 2025 by email (donations@zoo.org), in person at a zoo admissions window or by mail:
    Woodland Park Zoo
    5500 Phinney Ave N
    Seattle, WA 98103
