Ticket FAQ



1. Can I purchase Summer tickets in Winter, and vice versa?

Summer season tickets become available for purchase starting in early March, Winter season tickets become available in late September. Gift cards may be purchased for any amount and can be delivered in physical or electronic format.

2. I have a Microsoft Prime card or other admissions discount/coupon (not a promo code). How can I purchase my tickets?

Please bring your admissions discount card or coupon directly to zoo gates. We are unable to accept those for online ticketing at this time. If you have a promo code, you may enter it at the "Order Confirmation" step of the purchasing process.

3. Can I receive a group discount on daily admission tickets online?

Yes, groups of 20 or more receive a 10% discount when all tickets are purchased in a single transaction, either online or in person.

4. How long are tickets valid? Do they expire?

Tickets expire one year after date of purchase. A peak season ticket may be used on any date. An off-peak season ticket may only be used Oct 1 – Mar 3, though you can upgrade to a peak season ticket at zoo entrances.

5. Can my online ticket be applied towards a zoo membership?

Yes, you may apply the cost of your online tickets toward a zoo membership. This offer may only be redeemed in person, on grounds on the same day of your visit. Please visit the Membership Office for more information.

6. Can my daily admission ticket be used for ZooTunes or other zoo events?

No, general admission tickets are good for one-day only of regular zoo admission. These tickets cannot be used for after-hours, separately ticketed events like ZooTunes concerts, Tasting Flight, Brew at the Zoo or WildLights.

7. Do daily admission tickets include the cost of parking?

No, parking is a separate fee and must be paid directly to the parking kiosks on site, or via the PaybyPhone app.



1. I have a promo code, how can I use it?

You may enter your promo code during the "Order Confirmation" step of the purchasing process. Promo codes are not case sensitive.

2. Can I get a refund on tickets or membership?

Ticket and membership purchases are nonrefundable.

3. How do I print or reprint my tickets or temporary membership card?

You may print tickets or your temporary membership card directly from the confirmation page or from the confirmation email.

You may also look up your order on the website if you have your Confirmation Number, Email Address and last four digits of the credit card used for the transaction.

If you have an account, you may look up and print your past orders by signing in and clicking on "History."

4. I am unable to print my tickets/I never received my tickets and we plan to visit right away.

You may also display your tickets on your mobile device at any zoo entrance. Our staff can also locate your order and check you in at any ticketing window.

5. Can I show tickets or my temporary membership card on my phone?

Yes, you may show your tickets or your temporary membership card on your mobile phone. Simply bring up the confirmation email with the tickets or temporary card and present them at the gate.

6. What credit cards do you accept?

Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express

7.My debit/credit card is being declined.

Please try a different card, or contact your financial institution for more details.

8. Do I need to create an account to purchase online?

You must have an account to purchase a membership. For ticket purchases, you don’t need to create an account, you may simply check-out as guest.

Creating an account will store your information so that you do not have to re-enter it on future purchases. You will also be able to print or reprint tickets and membership information from your account, and have access to special offers and discounts if you are a member. Your account information is secure and will not be sold.

Please note that this account is separate from a MyZoo account. Any updates or changes made on this account will not affect your information for membership, email subscriptions, mailings, etc.
