DAILY ADMISSION FAQ

 

1. Can I purchase Summer tickets in Winter, and vice versa?

Yes, you may purchase tickets in advance for an upcoming season.

2. I have a Microsoft Prime card or other admissions discount/coupon (not a promo code). How can I purchase my tickets?

Please bring your admissions discount card or coupon directly to zoo gates. We are unable to accept those for online ticketing at this time. If you have a promo code, you may enter it at the "Order Confirmation" step of the purchasing process.

3. Can I receive a group discount on daily admission tickets online?

No, group discounts may only be given in person or over the phone. Groups of 20 or more can receive a 10% group discount when all tickets are purchased in a single transaction (in person or over the phone). You do not need to make a reservation to receive the discount.

4. How long are tickets valid? Do they expire?

Tickets are valid for one-day entry during the time period listed on the tickets. Summer tickets are valid May - September; Winter tickets are valid October - April. Daily admission tickets do not expire.

5. What if I purchased tickets during winter and want to use them in summer, or vice versa?

Please bring your tickets with you to the zoo's West entry and our gates staff will be able to assist you. If you're visiting during summer (May-September) with tickets designated for winter (October-April), you will be asked to pay the difference before you enter. Tickets designated for summer can be used in winter, though we cannot refund the price difference.

6. Can my online ticket be applied towards a zoo membership?

Yes, you may apply the cost of your online tickets toward a zoo membership. This offer may only be redeemed in person, on grounds on the same day of your visit. Please visit the Membership Office for more information.

7. Can my daily admission ticket be used for ZooTunes or other zoo events?

No, general admission tickets are good for one-day only of regular zoo admission. These tickets cannot be used for after-hours, separately ticketed events like ZooTunes concerts, Tasting Flight, Brew at the Zoo or WildLights.

8. Do daily admission tickets include the cost of parking?

No, parking is a separate fee and must be paid directly to the parking kiosks on site.

ONLINE PURCHASING FAQ

 

1. I have a promo code, how can I use it?

You may enter your promo code during the "Order Confirmation" step of the purchasing process. Promo codes are not case sensitive.

2. Can I get a refund on tickets or membership?

Ticket and membership purchases are nonrefundable.

3. How do I print or reprint my tickets or temporary membership card?

You may print tickets or your temporary membership card directly from the confirmation page or from the confirmation email.

You may also look up your order on the website if you have your Confirmation Number, Email Address and last four digits of the credit card used for the transaction.

If you have an account, you may look up and print your past orders by signing in and clicking on "History."

4. My printer is out of ink or paper. Can I print at a later time?

You may print at any time from the methods listed above.

5. Can I show tickets or my temporary membership card on my phone?

Yes, you may show your tickets or your temporary membership card on your mobile phone. Simply bring up the confirmation email with the tickets or temporary card and present them at the gate.

6.What credit cards do you accept?

Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express

7. The online cart will not accept my credit card. What do I do?

We apologize the credit card processor will not accept your card. Your options are to (1) try another card; (2) purchase tickets/membership over the phone (206.548.2500) or at the gates; (3) review your credit card statement to make sure the information you are using matches what your bank has on file; (4) email customer service.

8. Do I need to create an account to purchase online?

You do not need to create an account to purchase online; simply choose to checkout as a Guest.

Creating an account will store your information so that you do not have to re-enter it on future purchases. You will also be able to print or reprint tickets and membership information from your account, and have access to special offers and discounts if you are a member. It will not store your credit card information.

Please note that this account is separate from a MyZoo account. Any updates or changes made on this account will not affect your information for membership, email subscriptions, mailings, etc.
