Phinney Business Discounts

We love our neighborhood!


Woodland Park Zoo guests (including members) will receive a 10% discount on items sold at participating Phinney businesses. Guests must show a valid zoo admission or membership card.

Explorer Pass

For Foster and Kinship Families* or Recipients of EBT/Washington Quest or WIC Assistance

 

Must be Purchased in Person at the Zoo

A $35 membership for foster and kinship families* or recipients of EBT/Washington Quest or WIC assistance (Washington residents only).

Individuals can join as an Explorer Pass member or renew their existing Explorer Pass membership at any time (as long as they still qualify) and it will expire at the end of the month one year after the purchase date. Membership is active at the time of purchase.

Both new and renewing Explorer Pass members will need to provide current proof of EBT/WIC assistance or foster family or kinship caregiver* status for verification** and a valid form of photo ID that matches their verification document.

* Any foster parent or kinship caregiver providing care for a child placed through a dependency action in a Washington state or tribal court and who is in the care and custody of the Department of Children, Youth, and Families, Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, or tribal child welfare agency.

** Acceptable forms of verification include: Washington Quest card (EBT), WIC voucher/card or appointment folder, DSHS kinship caregiver card, DCYF caregiver authorization form, foster caregiver license certificate or ID card.

 

Discover Ticket

For Foster and Kinship Families* or Recipients of EBT/Washington Quest or WIC Assistance

 

Available September 8, 2020 through March 31, 2021

The $5 Discover Ticket is available September 8, 2020 through March 31, 2021 for foster and kinship families* or recipients of EBT/Washington Quest or WIC assistance. Valid for daytime admission, excludes all other separately ticketed events.

Like our general admission tickets, Discover Ticket designated entrance time slots will need to be reserved in advance. You can go to shop.zoo.org and select the Discover Ticket ticket type to receive the $5 ticket option and make your reservation. Discover Ticket entry is bookable up to 30 days in advance.

Limit of six per family, limited to Washington state residents.

Valid verification** and photo ID that matches the verification document must be provided along with tickets prior to entry. At least one adult must present verification. If you do not have valid verification and a valid photo ID at entry, you will not permitted to enter the zoo at that time without first upgrading to a full-price general admission ticket.

Companies with 100 or more employees can sign up for our new Online Ticket Discount Program enabling the purchase of admission tickets and much more online at our best year-round discount price 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
