What is included with my ticket?

Your ticket includes all-day zoo admission and all food and beverage options included with your experience. Guests will also have the opportunity to get complimentary bear-themed airbrush tattoos and complimentary family photo keepsake before the stations close at 11:00 a.m.


Where does the event take place?

Papa Bear Brunch (Brown Bears) will take place at Living Northwest Trail.

Papa Bear Brunch (Sloth Bears) will take place at Banyan Wilds.

Please purchase tickets for your preferred location as they are not transferrable.


Are these events family-friendly, or are they only for adults?

Yes, these events are family-friendly so children are welcome!


Will I have access to the rest of the zoo with my event ticket?

Yes! Your Papa Bear Brunch ticket includes all-day admission to Woodland Park Zoo. Papa Bear Brunch guests may enter the zoo as early as 9:00 a.m.— before the main gates open to the general public at 9:30 a.m. Upon entry, please head directly to your ticketed location (Living Northwest Trail or Banyan Wilds) for event check-in.


Can I purchase tickets on the day of event?

No, tickets need to be pre-purchased 7 days in advance.


How do I enter the zoo?

For Papa Bear Brunch, guests can ONLY enter through West Gate.


Where do I park? How much does parking cost?

Parking for these events is in the zoo lots located along Phinney Avenue N. and N. 59th Street, and the lot accessible on N. 50th & Fremont Ave. N.

Penguin Lot and Otter Lot are the two parking lots closest to West Gate.

Pay-for-parking kiosks are located at each lot. Parking is $10 for the day (+ taxes and fees) for parking in any of the Woodland Park Zoo parking lots.

Disabled parking is available in all zoo lots.

If you must park on the streets surrounding the zoo, please be courteous and do not block driveways.


Can I get a refund or reschedule my ticket?

No rescheduling and no refunds. If the zoo cancels an event, we will issue refunds or reschedule tickets.


Are dietary restrictions or allergies accommodated at these events?

Vegetarian [V], Vegan [Vv] and Gluten Free [GF] options will be notated. No substitutions please.


What happens if it rains or there’s bad weather?

The event will take place rain or shine and outdoor canopies will be set up for rainy days. In the event of inclement weather and zoo closure, we will cancel the event and issue refunds.


What time should I arrive, and where do I check in?

Papa Bear Brunch: The event begins at 9:00 AM. However, since it will likely be busy during Father’s Day Weekend, we recommend arriving around 15 minutes early to allow time for parking and check-in at West Gate.


Where will we sit and can we reserve a table?

Papa Bear Brunch: Communal dining tables, seating up to 10 guests, will be set up. Seating is first-come, first-served, and we are unable to accommodate table reservations. Larger groups should arrive early to find preferred seats. A designated stroller parking area will be available to provide more seating room for everyone. There will also be a few tall cocktail tables scattered around for small groups.


Is alcohol included, and do I need to show ID?

Papa Bear Brunch: Includes one complimentary mimosa OR Bloody Mary for adult ticket holders (21+ with valid ID).


Will there be opportunities to interact with animals during these events?

Papa Bear Brunch at Living Northwest: With so many animal exhibits along Living Northwest Trail, you will likely get to sip coffee strolling past brown bears, Canada lynx, snowy owl, river otters, mountain goats or elk.

Papa Bear Brunch at Banyan Wilds: With so many animal exhibits along Banyan Wilds, you will likely get to sip coffee strolling past sloth bears, Asian small-clawed otters, or Malayan tiger.

Is the event accessible?

Yes! All event locations are wheelchair accessible. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us zooinfo@zoo.org in advance.
