SUMMER VACATION CAMPS
2016 Zooper Day Camp
Ages: 4-6 years
Time: 9:00 a.m. - noon or
1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Full- Day Sessions:
Ages: 5-9 years (grouped by age!)
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
We offer two curricula so children can attend one or two weeks of Zooper Day Camp. If selecting two weeks, please be sure to pick one of each curriculum. Order does not matter.
Zooper Day Camp drop-off and pick-up are at the Education Center near the zoo's South Entrance.
Animal Olympics (A): Join us to compare the athletic feats of wild animals to those of humans competing in the Olympics. We will learn about teamwork, competition and specialization (whether among animals or human athletes) and learn about those mind boggling record setters.
Kingdom of Animals (B): There are so many animals on this planet, how do scientists keep track of them all? We will delve into the organization of the animal kingdom while practicing out classification skills on animals around the zoo.
Full day campers are placed into age appropriate groups, generally with approximately a one year (12 month) age span or less. We cannot honor all “group with” requests, especially when there is an age gap of more than one year or there are multiple children (more than 4) wanting to all be grouped together.
If you are interested on being on a wait list for full sessions, please download, complete and send in a camp registration form indicating any sessions for which you would like to be waitlisted. Please write "waitlist" on the form. If spaces open we will fill them first come, first serve from the waitlist. We will call and\or e-mail you before we move you off the waitlist and into a vacated space.
Some sessions listed as FULL on the schedule may have limited spaces available for certain ages and will be listed as space available depending on date of birth. Call us at 206.548.2424, let us know your child's birthdate and we will let you know if we have space available for your child.
