Tours available Nov. 21, 2014 - April 2015

What you'll see:

Step back in time before journeying to Arctic climates on Woodland Park Zoo’s newest Real Close Tour. Begin at the West Entrance and follow your guide to our Historic Carousel. Choose your carousel pony and enjoy a ride while your guide explains the rich history of this cherished piece of early 20th century artwork.

Continue your tour to our award-winning Northern Trail exhibit and be on the lookout for wolves, bears, elk, mountain goats, eagles and more. Take a stroll behind the scenes to see the exhibits from the working side of the zoo, and learn how we care for, feed and train these magnificent animals.

Your tour ends at the entrance of our Australasia exhibit, from there you ‘ll have the rest of the day to explore the zoo at your own pace.  Or, if you cannot stay, your guide will escort you back to the West Entrance.

PLEASE NOTE: We require a minimum 48 hours notice to confirm your tour reservation, or you may purchase tickets at the zoo's West Entrance (Phinney Ave. and N. 55th Street) on the day of the tour, subject to availability. Tour space is limited to 16 guests per departure date, so make your reservation early!
