Join us for an exciting look at the zoo after hours. Through guided tours in the evening and early morning, you will get the inside scoop on our animals from our amazing education staff members. 

2010 Program:

Stealthy Science: Research after Dark

Join a group of fellow field researchers in training for an evening or overnight expedition at the zoo.  Learn about the amazing tools and techniques used by biologists to study animals in the wild.  Visit behind the scenes non-animal areas with your research team and meet two of the zoo’s smaller residents.  As a group overcome research obstacles using your observation and problem solving skills.  See the world through the eyes of a modern explorer!

 (All participants must be at least 7 years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult at a minimum of a 1:6 ratio of adults to children.)

When: Overnight and Evening Adventures are offered Friday and Saturday nights from March through November. Other weekday nights may be available based on instructor availability.

Zoo Overnight Adventure

Fee:  Education Center - $42 per person
          Zoomazium - $48 per person
Time: 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Food: Pizza dinner and light breakfast

Zoo Evening Adventure

Fee: $33 per person
Time: 6:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Food: Pizza dinner

Ready to register for Zoo Adventure now?  Simply click the register button to open the registration form.  Once you have filled out the form, mail it, fax it or deliver it yourself to the Education Center at Woodland Park Zoo.  Please make sure you are familiar with the program details and booking requirements before you submit your application.
