SENIOR CLASSES

Learning is for all ages! Groups of 15 or more can now book their own 1-hour class at the zoo. Choose from a list of topics and join us for a talk and tour on zoo grounds.

PROGRAM DETAILS

 

Private Senior Classes

Join us for a private class at the zoo! Classes include classroom and tour portions (tour portion may not be available to groups with more than 25 participants) and participants are welcome to stay after to enjoy the zoo on their own. The class will begin at the Education Center, located at the south end of the zoo (parking is in the Hippo Lot).  

Time: Classes last 1 hour and can be scheduled between 10:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Tuesdays-Saturdays during the months of September through May. Class offerings are subject to staff and space availability.  
Fee: $15.00/participant (with a minimum of 15 total participants required for the class to run)

Choose from the following topics:

  • A World of Penguins
  • Lounge like a Lion
  • Malayan Tigers
  • Apes

Registration

To register, please return the Class Registration form by email, fax, mail or in person to the zoo's Education Center. 

Cancellation Policy

Please note that a minimum of three (3) weeks' notice of cancellation is required for a change in program date or a refund or credit of program fees. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds or credits for any changes or cancellations received less than three (3) weeks prior to the program start date.

If you have additional questions or experience technical issues with online registration, please contact the registration office by phone at 206.548.2424 or by email. The registration office is typically staffed from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Saturday.
