Enjoy a delightful day filled with pumpkins for animals, trick-or-treating and more for little goblins, ghosts and “ferocious” critters!

Kids will have a blast trick-or-treating throughout the zoo and participating in the special mascot-led costume parade! Our Boo-mazium will be a hub of excitement, featuring a variety of engaging activities tailored for our youngest visitors. This year, don’t miss out on the thrilling Mad Science Show in 1899 Grove on Saturday and Sunday!

Step back in time to when prehistoric giants ruled the Earth with the return of Dinosaur Discovery. Encounter 26 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs as the Habitat Discovery Loop transforms into beautiful prehistoric forest ‘Dinosaur Discovery’.

It’s that time of year again—OktoBEARfest is back!

On Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 1:00–7:00 p.m., Woodland Park Zoo transforms into a beer-lover’s paradise. No kids. Just you, your crew, and over 50 Northwest breweries and cideries. This hoppening afternoon is filled with sips worth savoring, one-of-a-kind animal encounters, and memories waiting to be made.
