WHAT

Thanksgiving is around the corner so Woodland Park Zoo’s carnivores are getting their palates ready to feast on turkey at Turkey Toss presented by Chevron. Komodo dragons, snow leopards, grizzlies, and other animals will chow down on raw, store-prepared turkeys or other autumn-themed treats.

The special turkey treat is part of the zoo’s excellent animal care program to help enrich the lives of the zoo’s animals. The activities help encourage natural animal behavior, keep animals mentally and physically stimulated and engage zoo visitors.
