Small Groups


What are Small Group Zoo Adventures?

Small Group Zoo Adventures are for individuals, families and groups of less than 22 people who do not have enough participants to book a private adventure. Multiple parties will be combined to form a larger group of 22 to 75.

For all Small Group Zoo Adventures, guests can choose to register and pay for the Evening Adventure and end their experience at 10:00 p.m. or register and pay for the Overnight Adventure to sleep overnight and enjoy morning activities.

All Overnight Adventures include a light pizza dinner, light breakfast, evening and morning guided programs, and zoo re-entry admission in the morning. All Evening Adventures include a light pizza dinner and guided evening program. Prices are per person and are the same for children and adults. 

Ages and Adult Participants

All children must be at least 7 years old and must be accompanied by adults at a minimum 1:6 ratio of adults to youth. All participants (children and adults) must register in advance and pay the appropriate per person rate (listed below).

Zoo Adventures: A Zookeeper's Life for Me

A true outdoor adventure! Together, we’ll tie, pitch, and problem solve our way through basic wilderness skills. Learn to live alongside wildlife while enjoying the great outdoors. Program runs rain or shine, so live wild and come prepared for any weather.

A Zookeeper's Life for Me

Northwest Conservation

Join us for an exploration into the life of a zookeeper at Woodland Park Zoo as you investigate the triumphs of caring for some of the smallest and largest animals on earth. Learn about techniques zookeepers use to work with animals and try your hand at creating an enrichment item.

Overnight: $55   
Evening: $40

Evening: 6:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Event Size/Multiple Parties

Please note that Small Groups Zoo Adventures do include multiple parties combined to form a larger group of 22 to 75 people. You will be eating and enjoying activities as a part of this larger group. In addition, all parties will sleep in the same area. Groups will be smaller for touring zoo grounds.


Payment is due in full at the time of registration.  If this poses a hardship, contact the Registrar.
