What are Zoo Adventures for Large Groups?
If you have your own group containing 22 or more people (or pay for 22 people), you can have your own private Zoo Adventure! Groups choose the date for their event on a first come, first serve basis. We welcome all types of groups including classrooms, community groups, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, families, birthday parties, nature lovers, animal lovers or anyone who wants to enjoy a Zoo Overnight or Evening Adventure. Choose from any of the program offerings for the year.
All Overnight Adventures include a light pizza dinner, light breakfast, evening and morning guided programs, and zoo re-entry admission in the morning. All Evening Adventures include a light pizza dinner and guided evening program.
Ages and Adult Participants
All children must be at least 7 years old and must be accompanied by adults at a minimum 1:6 ratio of adults to youth. All participants (children and adults) must register in advance and pay the appropriate per person rate (listed below).
Overnight: 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 a.m.
Evening: 6:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Bring your own tents
$100 non-refundable deposit plus a $2 registration fee is required to book a date (submit check with application). Remaining balance (full payment) and final count for all participants must be received by the zoo a minimum of three (3) weeks in advance of the groups Zoo Adventure date.
Have a group of less than 22 people?
If you do not have a group of 22 or more you may attend a Small Group Zoo Adventure. If you are part of a small Scout Group, you can attend a Zoo Adventure set aside specifically for scouts. If your group is smaller than 22 people, you may still register for a Large Group Zoo Adventure with payment for 22 registrants.

For Zoo Adventures for Organized Groups a minimum of three (3) weeks notice of cancellation is required for a credit or refund. Three (3) weeks notice is also required for change of program date. Woodland Park Zoo reserves the right to cancel a program due to insufficient enrollment. Should this occur, a credit or refund will be issued. Final payment for your group must be received by the zoo a minimum of three weeks prior to your Zoo Adventure date. Contact the Group Registration Specialist if you want to add last minute attendees.
