Pumpkin Bash and Trick-or-Treating Recurring event

Pumpkins for the animals, trick-or-treating, and more are in store for little goblins and ghosts at Woodland Park Zoo’s family-friendly Pumpkin Bash. Discover a repertoire of animal behavior as hippos, bears, Malayan tigers, lemurs, and other animals crunch, smash or stomp on pumpkins! The pumpkins are part of the zoo’s excellent animal care program to help enrich the lives of the zoo’s animals. The safe activities help encourage natural animal behavior, keep animals mentally and physically stimulated and provide extraordinary experiences for zoo visitors. Free with zoo admission or membership. During Pumpkin Bash, one child 12 years and under in costume is admitted into the zoo FREE with a paid adult.

Before you baste your bird or stir your stuffing, come see the festive feast our animals will enjoy at this year’s annual Turkey Toss event. The store-prepared turkeys and other species-specific autumnal fixings are part of the zoo’s excellent animal care program. Enrichment like this encourages natural behaviors that keep animals mentally and physically stimulated and provide extraordinary experiences for zoo visitors.

Seattle's wildest holiday lights festival returns with sparkling lights, faux snowball fights, up close animal encounters, hot chocolate and family delights. Experience brand new wild and wonderful light displays that will be featured throughout the zoo including a holiday light spectacular at the zoo’s south entrance which will now be open throughout the run of WildLights.
