Valentine's Day Treats for the Animals

Woodland Park Zoo celebrates Cupid’s holiday the wild way with heart-shaped ice pops made of fruit juice, honey, strawberries and cranberries, herbal bouquets, heart-shaped steaks and more sweet treats for the animals.

The romantic treats are part of the zoo’s excellent animal care program to help enrich the lives of the zoo’s animals, promote natural animal behavior, keep animals mentally stimulated and engage zoo visitors.

PUMPKIN BASH

Halloween Comes to the Zoo!
Saturday & Sunday, October 27 & 28, 2018
9:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.


Pumpkins for the animals, trick-or-treating, and more are in store for little goblins and ghosts at Woodland Park Zoo’s family-friendly Pumpkin Bash presented by CLIF Kid. Discover a repertoire of animal behavior as hippos, bears, Malayan tigers, lemurs, and other animals crunch, smash or stomp on pumpkins! The pumpkins are part of the zoo’s excellent animal care program to help enrich the lives of the zoo’s animals. The safe activities help encourage natural animal behavior, keep animals mentally and physically stimulated and engage zoo guests.

Free with zoo admission or membership.

During Pumpkin Bash presented by CLIF Kid, one child 12 years and under in costume is admitted into the zoo FREE with a paid adult.

Get decked out in your favorite Halloween costume and celebrate Halloween at the zoo with Chef and Restaurateur Ethan Stowell. Chef Stowell and the Ethan Stowell Restaurants team will prepare scary-good delectable eats and treats. Also, be prepared for a trick or two by your zoo friends! Come meet some of our ambassador animals, slithering friends or perhaps a cockroach or two.  

Tickets are $150 each and only 125 spots are available.

Your night out helps raise funds to support Woodland Park Zoo's mission to save wildlife.
