EVENT DETAILS

THANKS FOR JoinING us for Seattle’s wildest party!

On July 12, 2019, more than 1,000 supporters joined together to raise vital funds for our mission to embark on a historic transformation, redefining the relationship between people, our planet and its creatures through a broad, social movement for wildlife conservation. The community also stood together to advance our Zoo for All Initiative. When it comes to access and inclusion, Woodland Park Zoo is charting new territory. We believe this is not only a philosophy, it’s a necessary because conserving resources and ensuring the coexistence of wildlife and peoples takes all of us. Woodland Park Zoo would like to thank the Jungle Party co-chair Amy Alcala, Diane Shrewsbury, Alyssa Sunderland, Jill Walker and our generous community!

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear to Jungle Party?
This is not a black tie event! The dress is casual, so you can enjoy Seattle’s warm, summer sun! Guests are encouraged to dress in the spirit of each year’s Jungle Party theme. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, too, as the party is mainly held on our grassy meadow and you will be walking on zoo grounds.

Should I make reservations?
Yes, reservations are required for Jungle Party, as it often sells out prior to the night of the event. To buy tickets and make reservations, please contact Jungle.Party@zoo.org.

Can I bring my child?
We ask that our guests not bring anyone under the age of 21 to Jungle Party. We strongly feel Jungle Party is not appropriate for children.

How can I reserve mobility equipment for guests with disabilities?
We have mobility equipment such as wheelchairs and electric carts, and can provide security escort for any guest that needs additional assistance. Please contact Jungle.Party@zoo.org to reserve specific equipment or assistance in advance.

Who should I notify regarding my food allergies?
We are happy to provide a gourmet meal to those with special food allergies or preferences, and those with special allergies and intolerances. In order to properly meet your needs throughout the evening, please be sure to contact Jungle.Party@zoo.org in advance regarding any food allergies.

How can I support Jungle Party if I’m unable to attend?
There are plenty of ways one can support Jungle Party. You can donate an auction item for our silent and live auctions, or make a cash contribution. Go to www.zoo.org/donation to make a donation! Don’t forget your employer may even be able to match your contribution!
