Empathy, Wild Encounters, Learning

In today’s world, people crave immersive experiences that bring them closer to animals and nature. At Wild Encounters, our reimagining of the Family Farm opening in 2027, we’re “pulling back the curtain” on a day in the life of an animal keeper. Your generous gift supports the work of our expert animal keepers and veterinarians and will help increase up-close experiences to encourage empathy for all living things.

Animal Care

By giving to Fund Our Future, you help us further evolve the delight and dynamism of the animal homes we provide. Contributions like yours have already helped us diversify habitats, adding nearly 30 new species to our population in 2025. You also help support new babies at the zoo, like new lion cubs Kamari and Zawadi, born to first-time South African lion parents Ilanga and Tandie representing third-generation lineage at Woodland Park Zoo.

Sustainability is foundational to our mission to protect wildlife, restore ecosystems and safeguard the planet we all share.
