Purchasing Tickets
Tickets for BECU ZooTunes presented by Carter Subaru can be purchased online at www.zoo.org/zootunes. Only credit cards are accepted for online ticket purchases (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover). Cash, credit cards and checks are accepted at zoo gates. If you are presenting a check, ID will be required. Phone ticket sales are available by calling Ticketfly at 877.987.6487 (additional service fees apply for phone orders).

Ticket Refunds
We do not offer returns or exchanges on any ticket purchases. Tickets are non-refundable except in the event of a cancellation, and then tickets are refundable at the original point of purchase only. For sold out shows, Lyte provides a fan-to-fan ticket exchange service.

Lost Tickets
If you purchased your tickets directly from Woodland Park Zoo’s online ticketing system, you can reprint your own lost tickets in advance of the show by going to ticketfly.com and logging in to your account. If you arrive at zoo gates on the day of your concert without your electronic ticket printed or on your mobile device, please proceed to the Will Call desk at the West Entrance Membership office with a valid ID and we will be able to confirm your purchase.

If you purchased your tickets in person at the zoo and provided your name and email address at the time of purchase, please proceed to the Will Call desk at the West Entrance Membership office with a valid ID and we will be able to confirm your purchase. If you did not provide your email address when you purchased your tickets, we may not be able to confirm your purchase and you will not be permitted admission into the concert.

Woodland Park Zoo does not sell any tickets to third party ticket distributors and can verify tickets that were purchased only through Ticketfly or Lyte. Therefore, it is suggested that you purchase all of your ZooTunes tickets from Woodland Park Zoo through Ticketfly or Lyte.

Day of Show Tickets
If a concert is not sold out, you may purchase tickets online or at the zoo’s West Entrance until approximately 8:00 p.m. Please keep in mind that most concerts end at approximately 8:30 p.m., so check in advance to make sure there are still tickets available and get here early so you can enjoy the majority of the show.

Children 12 and Under Free Policy
Please note that only one (1) child 12 years of age and younger is free with each paid general admission ticket. So, if you purchase two GA tickets, you can bring two children (12 and under) to the concert for free—just add two free child tickets to your order. If you purchase two tickets, but have three children, you will need to purchase an additional ticket, as only two of the children will be allowed in free (one per paid ticket).

Restrictions:

  • Please add the appropriate number of child tickets to your ticket order (online or at gates) for each concert you will be attending.
  • Reserved tickets are an exception to our one child per paid ticket allowance. Every member of your party will need to purchase a ticket for the Reserved section, regardless of age.
  • Complimentary tickets and other unpaid tickets (for example, tickets won in a contest) do not include a free child admission.

Ticket Fees
BECU ZooTunes presented by Carter Subaru is a major fundraiser for the zoo to support animal care, zoo maintenance and upkeep, education programs for children and adults, and conservation programs that are helping to preserve endangered species in our state and all over the world. Tickets to ZooTunes remain the best concert bargain in the Northwest, and we have worked very hard in an increasingly competitive market to keep ticket prices as low as possible.  A $2.00 per ticket facility fee is added to the ticket price at all ticket outlets to help fund the maintenance of the zoo's concert facilities, and an additional $4.00 per ticket service fee is added to tickets purchased online.

Does my concert ticket provide me with admission or a discount to the zoo?
The concert ticket only allows admission to the performance. If you would like to visit the zoo before the concert, you will need to purchase a separate admission ticket at zoo gates. However, your concert ticket does allow you to come back to the zoo after your concert date through September 30, 2017, for $5.00 off one regular zoo admission per ticket.

Do you offer special discounted ticket packages for zoo members?
No, we do not offer any discounts on concert tickets, but members do have the benefit of buying their ZooTunes tickets before the general on-sale date through our member pre-sale.  Members will receive emails that include pre-sale information.

Seating

General Admission Seating
General admission seating is festival style on the North Meadow lawn. GA ticket holders are seated on a first-come, first-served basis. Low-backed chairs are allowed, as are blankets, but high-backed chairs over 24” are not allowed.* Please be respectful of your neighbors and do not take up more space than you need for your party, as the meadow can get crowded during sold out shows and we want everyone to be able to find a seat.

General admission areas allow standing, dancing or sitting on the venue’s lawn. You are welcome to stand and/or dance during the performance, but we ask that you be courteous to those around you and respectful of the artist’s performance.

Please note: Other concert patrons may be standing/dancing in front of you.

*Low-backed chairs. The specific measurements for a chair to qualify as low-backed are: approximately 9 inches from the ground to the seat and no more than 24 inches from the top of the chair to the ground.

Reserved Seating
A limited number of Reserved seating tickets are available for each concert. Reserved tickets include reserved parking, priority entry and seats (chairs provided) in a prime viewing and listening location. Reserved section tickets are available online only while supplies last, and are not sold at the concert entrance or at zoo gates.

Due to limited seating and the location of the reserved section, you'll need to purchase a Reserved ticket for each member of your group, regardless of age. Reserved tickets are an exception to our one child per paid ticket allowance.

Getting In

Bag Check
Bag checks will be conducted upon entry to every concert. This is a new policy the zoo is enforcing to ensure the safety of all guests. To accommodate this new policy, doors will open at 4:30 p.m. rather than the usual open time of 5:00 p.m.

Will Call
Will call is conveniently located at the West Entrance in the Membership office. Will Call opens at 3:30 p.m. and closes at 8:00 p.m. on concert nights. Feel free to use this service to drop off tickets for guests arriving late. The zoo‘s West Entrance is located on Phinney Ave. N. between N. 55th and N. 56th.

Tickets purchased online will not automatically be held at Will Call. You must print out a copy of your ticket or bring it with you on your mobile device.

Where do concert lines form?
There are two lines that form inside the zoo for our members and those who have paid for zoo admission for the day. They are located by the penguin exhibit and behind the carousel. These two lines are let into the meadow at approximately 4:30 p.m. Outside lines begin in the West Commons and at the South Entrance and are let in once the inner lines have entered.

What time do doors open?
The doors open at 4:30 p.m. or once the artist has completed sound check. We must wait until sound check ends prior to guests being allowed to enter the venue.
