Vaccine Verification Required (ages 12+)*

Vaccine verification is required for all WildLanterns guests ages 12+ in accordance with the King County public events mandate. All ticket holders in a party (ages 12+) must present proof of full vaccination* upon entry.

Accepted forms of verification are:

  • CDC COVID-19 vaccination record card or photo of card
  • Printed certificate or QR code from MyIRMobile.com
  • Other official immunization record from within or outside the United States, including from your health care provider. A photo or photocopy of this card is also acceptable.

Alternatively, if you are age 12+ and unvaccinated or cannot prove full vaccination status, you will be required to show proof of a negative PCR COVID-19 test from a testing provider taken no more than 72 hours prior to your scheduled visit.

No vaccination or testing requirements apply to guests under the age of 12.

*Fully vaccinated is defined as receiving final vaccination dose at least two weeks prior to your evening of event entry.

Tianyu Art Performances

Location: Picnic shelter located next to the historic carousel
Tuesday - Thursday at 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Friday-Sunday at 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Join in the magic and mystery as Woodland Park Zoo brings a special live traditional Chinese art performance to the 2021 WildLanterns season. Enjoy Tianyu’s top-notch entertainment with nightly performances of traditional Chinese folk dances, Kung Fu, lion dances and more.

WildLights Trail

Location: Habitat Discovery Loop (near Family Farm)
Open nightly and free with WildLanterns admission

WildLights are back! Hundreds of thousands of colorful LED (energy efficient) lights will illuminate the trees and landscapes throughout Discovery Loop. This dazzling, brand-new addition to WildLanterns is the perfect photo-op to capture holiday memories for families and friends.


Ambassador Animals

Location: Broadleaf Theater
Saturday and Sunday until January 30, 2022
5:00 - 7:00 p.m.

Meet and mingle with your favorite ambassador animals at Woodland Park Zoo! You and a small group of family or friends are invited to have an up close experience with one of our extraordinary animals.

Please note, this is a no-touch experience and you will not be allowed to touch the animals. Face masks must be worn at all times during the experience.

Food Options

Outdoor food service and grab-and-go options are available during WildLanterns.

Festive sweet and savory treats will be available for purchase at several locations around the zoo, including the Pizza Corner at 1899 Grove and at Gather and Graze where covered seating will be provided. Food kiosks will also be dispersed throughout the pathways including in West Plaza and near the historic Carousel. The inside of 1899 Grove and the Briar Oak barn, by the North Meadow, will be closed during WildLanterns.
