Who We Are
Wildlife Camera Network Northwest (WCN-NW) is highly collaborative in nature. Network members are developing common protocols and data-sharing opportunities for Northwest camera trap projects. The following organizations and institutions currently participate in WCN-NW:
WCN-NW is coordinated by Dr. Robert Long of Woodland Park Zoo. Dr. Long has used camera traps to survey and monitor wildlife across the United States, and currently oversees camera-based research on wolverines in the North Cascades and with the Washington Urban-Wildland Carnivore Project. He served as lead editor for the book, Noninvasive Survey Methods for Carnivores (Island Press, 2008).
