General admission tickets include event admission, 10 tasting tickets, and access to all zoo exhibits.
Premium tickets include early entry, a souvenir wine glass, 15 tasting tickets, and access to all zoo exhibits.
Designated Driver includes unlimited soda and access to all zoo exhibits.
Yes, Tasting Flight admission and a valid ID are required for everyone attending the event. We have a special designated driver ticket option for those who will not be drinking wine at this event.
Entry to this event will be through the West entrance only.
If the event does not sell out in advance, general admission tickets will be available the day of the event, while quantities last. However, please note that this event has sold out in advance multiple times.
Wine glasses are advised since they make the wine taste best, but you are welcome to bring any glass you like. Premium ticket holders will receive a free souvenir wine tasting glass, and there will be a limited quantity of souvenir glasses available for purchase at the event.
Yes, compostable cups will be available and a limited quantity of souvenir tasting glasses will be available for purchase. We strongly encourage people to bring their own glasses as we are trying to create a green event in the spirit of the zoo’s conservation mission.
Yes, bottles will be available for purchase (tax free). No, you may not drink any purchased bottles of wine while you are at the event. If our staff witnesses this behavior, you may be asked to leave the event.
Yes! A variety of food options will be available throughout the zoo, including full-service spots like 1899 Grove, Gather and Graze, and Wild Cup. You’ll also find snacks and treats at locations like Jurassic Bites, Discovery Loop, West Plaza, Crossroads, and Briar Oak—plus various food carts stationed along the loop offering everything from charcuterie cups and fruit to hot dogs, popcorn, lemonade, and Dippin’ Dots.
Event admission tickets, wine glasses, additional tasting tickets and bottles of wine may be purchased with card only.
You are welcome to bring a picnic, but outside alcohol is prohibited.
Yes! Proceeds from ticket sales, wine bottle sales, food, games and extra tastings all support Woodland Park Zoo and our exemplary animal care, world-class education programs and more than 25 local and global conservation programs. Regular zoo membership admission does not apply.
Parking for this event is in the zoo lots located along Phinney Avenue N. and N. 59th Street, and the lot accessible on N. 50th & Fremont Ave. N. Only the West entrance will be open for this event.
Reserved parking for Tasting Flight is available in the Otter lot for $15 (plus taxes and fees). Reserve your spot.
Pay-for-parking kiosks are located at each lot. Parking is $10 for the day (+ taxes and fees) for parking in any of the Woodland Park Zoo parking lots.
Disabled parking is available in all zoo lots.
If you must park on the streets surrounding the zoo, please be courteous and do not block driveways.
This is a very casual event and you will be on grass, so dress comfortably and appropriately (rain or shine).
The whole zoo and all the exhibits will be open for people to explore. Exhibits will be closing at 7:30 p.m. Please be respectful of the barricades and signage that will be in place during the event. The main loop will be open until 8:30 p.m.
All our exhibits will be open and free to explore until 7:30 p.m. (Including animal encounters if there are any.)
