Giving Day & Walk

OUR ZOO. OUR DAY.

September 22 & 25, 2021

All for Animals

3rd Annual Giving Day

This year will be Woodland Park’s Zoo’s third annual All for Animals Giving Day, a day of giving just for our community zoo on September 22, 2021! As the largest cultural organization in the Pacific Northwest and a unique urban oasis that is home to nearly 1,000 animals and 250 different species, Woodland Park Zoo relies on the community and the people we serve. As we rebuild with resilience, we are thinking equally about how we can care for our community and animals alike.

All for Animals Walk

Registration will open August 2, 2021

To bring our community together, we are expanding Giving Day to include the All for Animals Walk with peer-to-peer fundraising. Fundraise as an individual or as a team with your family and friends to earn fun incentives along the way! As a peer-to-peer fundraiser, you can register to walk on zoo grounds on Saturday, September 25, 2021.

You may also participate in peer-to-peer fundraising without attending the walk or donate with a gift of any size that is meaningful to you. Every gift helps the zoo build a better community — your community. Join us on this day of giving to your zoo and stay tuned for more information in the coming months!

Community Support

In 2019, the zoo held its first ever Giving Day where we saw our community come together to raise more than $85,000 from 409 donors for wildlife conservation, best in class animal care, innovative programs and upgraded exhibit designs. In 2020, our community support was more important than ever to keep our vital work going during one of the most challenging years in our 120-year history. We are deeply grateful for the 483 donors that raised more than $100,000!

Make an Impact

Your community zoo continues to be impacted by substantial financial losses due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Your continued support remains critical to our future to help us rebuild and remain resilient. Because of people like you who understand the importance of the zoo as a community resource that connects people with animals, we continue to be steadfast in our mission to save wildlife and inspire everyone to make conservation a priority in their lives.
