Woodland Park Zoo’s young professionals network, Network for Nature (NFN), is hosting Thrive Day 2 on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Hyatt Olive 8. The event includes a networking reception and a “Ted Talk,” paired with a panel of leading experts shedding light on how tech and conservation are coming together to save species. The panel will include Conservation Leadership Award honorees Dr. K. Ullas Karanth and Dr. Krithi K. Karanth, wildlife conservation scientists and tech partners.

Seattle's wildest holiday lights festival returns with sparkling lights, faux snowball fights, up close animal encounters, hot chocolate and family delights. Experience brand new wild and wonderful light displays that will be featured throughout the zoo including a holiday light spectacular at the zoo’s south entrance which will now be open throughout the run of WildLights.

WINTER CELEBRATION



Wreaths, trees, treats and joy for the animals

December 15–17 & 20–22, 2018
10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m

Some animals hibernate during the winter, but you don’t have to!

It’s the season of joy and giving as Woodland Park Zoo treats its wildlife residents to fish- or fruit-trimmed wreaths, evergreen trees with ornamental fruit, or gift wrapped boxes containing favorite treats for rhinos, sloth bears, wolves, otters, penguins, and more at Winter Celebration.
