Father's Day Discount & Celebration

Sunday, June 19, 2016 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Special Discount for Dads

Woodland Park Zoo is honoring the father of every pride this Father’s Day with special keeper talks and activities. Dad receives half-price admission to the zoo with the purchase of a child’s admission when you mention the offer at any entry gate on Father’s Day (offer not available online).

Activities

Learn about the parenting behaviors of some of our animals during the daily keeper talks. And don’t miss a special emu talk at Australasia at 1:30 p.m.! These large flightless birds will receive enrichment while keepers share the very unusual and important role emu dads play in raising their chicks.

Guests can also stop by Zoomazium for fun Father’s Day crafts and pick up their Father’s Day tour and activity sheet which will guide them to some of the dads (and their offspring) living at Woodland Park Zoo.

Fees: Dad receives half-price admission to the zoo with the purchase of a child’s admission when you mention the offer at any entry gate on Father’s Day (offer not available online).

BUNNY BOUNCE

Easter Baskets for the Animals

Saturday, April 20, 2019
9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Hop, skip and jump to Woodland Park Zoo for the 18th annual Bunny Bounce, featuring amazing egg hunts for children ages 1–8, crafts, bunny encounters and eggs-citing zoo programs throughout the day. Space may be limited. Each egg hunt is open on a first-come, first-served basis. Orangutans, lemurs, grizzlies, and more nibble on specially made Easter baskets lined with flowers, berries and other favorite treats. The special treats are part of the zoo’s excellent animal care program to help enrich the lives of the zoo’s animals. The safe activities help encourage natural animal behavior, keep animals mentally and physically stimulated and provide extraordinary experiences for zoo visitors.
