All for Animals Walk

Saturday, September 16, 2023, 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.

The All for Animals Walk is a celebratory morning of community philanthropy designed to bring together the individual fundraisers who make the work of the zoo possible. Funds raised through the walk will support species-saving programs in the Pacific Northwest and our conservation partners across the world.

Join us from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. for a family friendly celebration, complete with a hot breakfast, music, special animal encounters and a walk around the zoo. We also have a variety of prizes and incentives for individual donors and teams. After the walk, you are welcome to stay and enjoy the zoo!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is All for Animals Giving Day and Walk?

All for Animals Giving Day is a 24-hour fundraising event, calling on our community to come together to support Woodland Park Zoo and our mission to save wildlife and inspire everyone to make conservation a priority in their lives. This year Giving Day is on September 13 and donations can be made through the month of September.

In its third year, we expanded Giving Day to include the All for Animals Walk. You can register to become a fundraiser to help raise awareness and funds to support the zoo and walk with us on grounds on September 16, 2023. You may also participate in fundraising without attending the walk or make a donation of any amount!

Do I have to participate in both the Giving Day and the walk?

No. You can participate in either or both! Keep in mind that registration is required to attend the walk and registration closes on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at 11:30 p.m. PST.

Is there a cost to attend the walk?

Yes. In order to attend the walk, you must donate or raise at least $30 per adult and $20 per child (ages 2-12) through the walk fundraising site. Please see the walk website for more details.

Do I have to register to attend the walk?

Yes. All walk attendees must register through the walk website by September 6, 2023 in order to attend the walk.

Does a donation during Giving Day count as a registration for the walk?

No. While we appreciate all donations given during Giving Day, the walk and Giving Day are separate events. Anyone interested in attending the walk must have registered to attend through the walk website and have raised their minimum required donation amount by August 31, 2023 in order to attend the walk.

If I donate $500 or more, can I join the Wild at Heart donor club?

Yes! Any individual (excluding fundraising teams) who raises or donates at least $500 is eligible to join the Wild at Heart club. Find more information about this donor club!

How will prize winners be determined?

Top fundraising prize winners (adult, team and kid) will be determined by who has raised the most donations at 11:30 p.m. on September 6. If you have raised money for the Walk off-line, through methods other than accepting donations to your donation page, please contact us by September 6th at 5 pm for these funds to be considered. Fundraisers are encouraged to continue raising money for individual kid and adult incentives up through the morning of the Walk.

For more details about either event, please visit the website links above. For any other questions, please contact donations@zoo.org.
