We
are excited to welcome our thrive! keynote speakers, Chris
and Martin Kratt, at Woodland Park Zoo on Wednesday, March
12th private kids’ night for our patron level ticket/table
holders and sponsors of thrive! The Kratt Brothers will present
some of our most fascinating animals at our new nature play
space,
Zoomazium, to a limited audience.
The
first series they created, Kratts' Creatures, aired in 1996
for school-aged kids on
PBS and has since premiered in over 30
countries and won many awards including back-to-back Best Children's
Film at the Jackson Wildlife Film Festival and the Parents
Choice Gold Award.
Next,
Chris and Martin created the Emmy Award-winning Zoboomafoo,
which premiered in 1999 and continues
to air on PBS. Their
focus is to create and produce entertainment that features
animals,
teaches natural history and science, and engages and empowers
people.
We are offering tickets to this amazing experience to our
sponsors and patrons only. Please see the following appropriate
pages
for more information.
Families
will receive a tote with fun surprises from the Kratt Brothers
and our zoo as a keepsake for
the evening.
Each child
will have the opportunity to meet the Kratt Brothers during
a photograph/autograph session at the end of the evening!
Munchies and drinks will also be served in the Rain Forest
Food Pavilion
for all to enjoy. |
