Snow Day at the Zoo!
The recent spat of cold weather and days of snow were great fun for several of the animals here at Woodland Park Zoo. In particular, our snow leopards had a great romp as the two sisters and their mother raced around their exhibit. Snow leopards hail from the cold, high-altitudes of Central Asia, so this blast of winter was like a touch of their native land. Sightings of wild snow leopards are extremely uncommon and so watching these highly endangered cats at play is a rare treat.

Although the snow has passed, you can still enjoy watching these beautiful cats here on a video clip. And to see some of our other animals, we've provided a slide show. Enjoy!
