What:
Have a passion for animals? Want to help save wildlife? Then volunteering at Woodland Park Zoo is for you! The zoo is currently recruiting volunteers for several different volunteer positions for spring and summer 2008. The zoo is looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and dedicated individuals who enjoy working with people, like to learn about the natural world and are committed to the cause of wildlife conservation.

Current volunteer positions include working with animals and the public in the Family Farm Contact Area, helping young children and their families play and learn in the award-winning Zoomazium, assisting with ZooStore operations and helping zoo visitors with way-finding.

Prospective volunteers must be at least 14; most positions have a minimum age requirement of 18.

When:
A volunteer overview is scheduled for prospective volunteers who must attend to be considered for a volunteer position for the spring or summer: Saturday, April 19,
9:30-11:00 a.m.

Where:
The overview will be held at Woodland Park Zoo’s Education Center near the South Entrance at N. 50th St. & Fremont Ave. N.
