What:       
Woodland Park Rose Garden staff hosts the Seattle Rose Society’s annual rose pruning demonstration: annual rose pruning practices such as where to cut, how much to cut, how to use your tools properly for correct cuts, the types of roses and respective pruning techniques; general information about roses; how to care for them; and an opportunity for questions and answers.

When:  
Saturday, March 1, noon to 3:00 p.m..

Where:  
Woodland Park Rose Garden at Woodland Park Zoo, N. 50th St. and Fremont Ave. N.

Cost:  
Free. Parking: $4.50 in the zoo’s South Entrance lot at N. 50th St. and Fremont Ave. N.
