Beginning
October 1, tickets will go on sale for Woodland Park Zoo’s newly
expanded, ghoulishly fun Pumpkin Prowl presented by Bartell Drugs. The
after-hours event features treats for your little
goblins, carved pumpkins and live entertainment. And be sure to check
out Zoomazium transformed into Boomazium!

Three
howling nights – Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 26, 27 and
28, 5:00-8:00 p.m.
Where:
Woodland
Park Zoo’s Family Farm, Bug World, Beech Grove, South Plaza, African
Village, Zoomazium, Rain Forest Food Pavilion and Education Center. Entrance
to the event will be at the South Entrance only: N. 50th St. & Fremont
Ave. N.
Cost:
Advance
tickets can be purchased at all Bartell Drugs locations and at Woodland
Park Zoo gates during zoo hours. Tickets also can be purchased at the
event. Ticket prices: $9 adults; $7 children 17 and under; free for children
2 and under. There is a $2 discount if tickets are purchased at Bartell
Drugs. This is an after-hours fundraiser so regular zoo membership privileges
do not apply.
Rain
or shine event. No ticket refunds.
Other:
Free
parking is available at all zoo lots. Free shuttles to the South Entrance
at N. 50th St. & Fremont Ave. N. will be provided from the zoo’s
North Entrance off N. 59th St. & Phinney Ave. N. and West Entrance
at N. 55th St. & Phinney Ave. N. Note: Please do not bring flashlights,
your own carved pumpkins, balls, balloons, Frisbees, toy guns or other
toy weapons. Snacks and hot beverages will be available for purchase
near the South Plaza and in the Rain Forest Food Pavilion.
