Zoo will close early for its annual premier fundraiser - Bank of America presents: Jungle Party

Seattle - Woodland Park Zoo will close early Friday, July 13 for its annual premier fundraiser, Bank of America presents: Jungle Party. Visitors can enter zoo grounds from 9:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and can remain on grounds until 4:00 p.m.

What will be affected:

  • The North Entrance off N. 59th St. & Phinney Ave. N. and the main loop path from the Butterflies & Blooms exhibit to the North Entrance restrooms will be closed all day.
  • The carousel will be closed all day. 
  • Visitors may enter the zoo through either the South Entrance at N. 50th St. & Fremont Ave. N. or the West Entrance at N. 55th St. & Phinney Ave. N.
  • The North Entrance parking lot will close at noon. Guests may park at the North Entrance parking lot until noon, but must move their vehicles to the West or South parking lots. For those who park in the North parking lot, there will be no exit from grounds via the North Entrance.
Zoo admission: May 1-September 30: Adult (13-64) $15; Child (3-12) $10. Free for children 2 and under year round. October 1-April 30: Adult (13-64) $10.50; Child (3-12) $7.50. Seniors and people with disabilities receive a discount and zoo members receive free zoo admission year round. Parking: $4.00. Parking is limited. Please call Metro at 206.553.3000 for bus service to the zoo.
