SEATTLE - Looking to purchase an original piece of art for yourself or a loved one this holiday season? Then, look no further because Woodland Park Zoo’s Asian elephant Chai has created an original painting just for the occasion and it is up for bid on eBay. The painting is fresh off the easel, created just a week ago.

Chai’s masterpiece is mounted on a stretched 24 x 18-inch canvas and is a kaleidoscope of her favorite colors: deep purple, scarlet, sun yellow, forest green and ocean blue. Woodland Park’s herd of elephants are all female: 28-year-old Chai and her calf, 6-year-old Hansa, both Asian elephants; 39-year-old Bamboo, Asian elephant; and 37-year-old Watoto, African elephant.
