Zoo’s Draft Annual Plan 2007 available for public review

What:
Beginning Wednesday, November 1, 2006, Woodland Park Zoo’s Draft Annual Plan is available to the public. The Annual Plan is submitted to the Superintendent of Seattle Parks and Recreation as specified by the Zoo Operations and Management Agreement between the City of Seattle and the Woodland Park Zoo Society. The Annual Plan briefly describes programmatic changes, capital improvements or planned fee changes for the upcoming year. The report is due to the Superintendent of Parks in the fourth quarter of each year

How:
Interested individuals may access the Draft Annual Plan 2007 in the Woodland Park Zoological Society section of the zoo's Web site. Or, at Woodland Park Zoo’s administrative offices in the reception trailer during regular zoo hours 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The offices are near the zoo’s North Entrance off N. 59th St. & Phinney Ave. N.

Written comments on the Draft Annual Plan 2007 may be mailed to: Woodland Park Zoo, 601 N. 59th St., Seattle, WA 98103, “Attention: Jim Bennett, Annual Plan Comments.” Comments may also be submitted electronically, accessible from the zoo’s Web site in the Woodland Park Zoological Society section. Any public comments must be received by midnight, December 1, 2006.
