Cool Blast at Woodland Park Zoo

What:
Summer means cool treats for Woodland Park Zoo’s animals. Come watch penguins, grizzlies, tigers, elephants and orangutans as they cool down with Popsicles and other summer favorites during the zoo’s Cool Blast!

When:
Fridays: August 12, 19, 26 and September 2.

Where:
Penguins 11:00 a.m., penguin pool
Grizzlies noon, Northern Trail – Taiga Viewing Shelter
Tigers 1:00 p.m., Adaptations, outdoor tiger grotto
Elephants 2:00 p.m., Elephant Forest – pool
Orangutans 3:00 p.m., Trail of Vines - boardwalk

Zoo admission: Adult (13-64) $10; Child (3-12) $7; Toddler (0-2) Free. Seniors and disabled receive a discount and zoo members receive free zoo admission year round.

Parking: $3.50. Parking is limited. Please call Metro at 206.553.3000 for bus service to the zoo.

Visit the ZooStore near the South Entrance for unique gifts and zoo souvenirs. Open daily during regular zoo hours. Hungry or thirsty? Stop by the Rain Forest Food Pavilion near the zoo’s West Entrance or the Outback Café on the east side of the zoo. Open daily during regular zoo hours.
