What:
If you’re searching high and low for that ideal present for garden enthusiasts or loved ones on your list, or that goofy gag gift, then Holidoo is just for you. Woodland Park Zoo’s coveted, exotic compost comes in 2- and 4-gallon buckets or pints for stocking stuffers. The exclusively packaged Zoo Doo product is available during the holiday season only at the ZooStore. Holidoo purchases help support the zoo’s animal care, education programs and conservation efforts all over the world. Hurry, supplies are limited.

Zoo Doo is a fully composted blend of animal manures mixed with straw bedding, grass, leaves and wood chips from the grounds of Woodland Park Zoo. Which animals contribute to Zoo Doo? Elephants, of course, are the most generous, followed by ponies, hippos, zebras, giraffes, tapirs and many other herbivores (plant eaters). The completely organic, aromatic Zoo Doo added to your soil enhances water and nutrient retention and improves soil texture.

When:
Holidoo is available at Woodland Park’s ZooStore during regular zoo hours, 9:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. daily. (Zoo admission is not required – inform the gate attendant you’re shopping at the ZooStore.) The ZooStore is closed Christmas day.

Where:
Woodland Park Zoo’s ZooStore at the South Entrance at N. 50th St. and Fremont Ave. N.

Cost:
Holidoo: 2-gallon bucket $12.95; 4-gallon bucket $19.95; and pint sized stocking stuffer $4.95.

Zoo opens 9:30 a.m. daily, 365 days of the year. Closes at 4:00 p.m. through March 14.
