Zoo’s Draft Annual Plan 2006 available for public review

What:
Beginning Tuesday, November 8, 2005, Woodland Park Zoo’s Draft Annual Plan became available to the public. The Annual Plan is submitted to the Superintendent of Seattle Parks and Recreation as specified by the Zoo Operations and Management Agreement between the City of Seattle and the Woodland Park Zoological Society. The Annual Plan briefly describes programmatic changes, capital improvements or planned fee changes for the upcoming year. The report is due to the Superintendent of Parks in the fourth quarter of each year.

How:
Interested individuals may access the Draft Annual Plan 2006 through Woodland Park Zoo’s Web site. Or, at Woodland Park Zoo’s administrative offices in the reception trailer located near the North Entrance at 601 N. 59th St., Seattle, WA 98103, during regular zoo hours 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Written comments on the Draft Annual Plan 2005 may be mailed to: Woodland Park Zoo, 601 N. 59th St., Seattle, WA 98103, “Attention: Jim Bennett, Annual Plan Comments.” Comments may also be submitted electronically to webkeeper@zoo.org. Any public comments must be received by midnight, December 7, 2005.
