What:
Tickets go on sale Monday, October 4, for Woodland Park Zoo’s Pumpkin
Prowl. The third annual event features spectacular displays of up to
a thousand carved and lighted pumpkins, trick-or-treating for your little
goblins and entertainment for the entire family. Costumes are strongly
encouraged!
When:
Three howling nights - Friday,
Saturday and Sunday, October 29, 30, 31, 5:00-9:00 p.m. Two time slots
are offered per evening: 5:00-6:45 p.m. and 7:15-9:00 p.m. Gates close at 9:00
p.m. Event ends at 9:30 p.m.
Where:
Woodland Park Zoo’s Family Farm, Masters of the Web exhibit, Beech Grove,
South Gate Plaza, and Zoo Auditorium at N. 50th St. & Fremont Ave. N.
Cost:
Adult $7; Child (3-17) $5; Toddler (2 and under) Free. Tickets purchased on the
day of the event at the zoo will be subject to a $2 fee per ticket.
Beginning
October 4, advance tickets are available for purchase online at TicketWeb with a $1 service fee per ticket and $1 fee per order. Advance tickets
can
also be purchased with no service fee at Woodland Park Zoo’s
South Gate during zoo hours. Membership privileges do not apply – this
is an after-hours fundraiser. Rain or shine event. No ticket refunds.
Other:
Free parking is available at any zoo lot. Free shuttles will be provided from
the zoo’s North Gate and West Gate lots to bring visitors to the South
Gate. Note: Strollers will not be permitted inside the event. Free stroller
parking will be provided. Please do not bring flashlights, your own carved
pumpkins, balls, balloons, Frisbees, toy guns or other toy weapons. Snacks
