Zoo announces early closure time for fundraiser

SEATTLE - Friday, July 9, Woodland Park Zoo will close early for its annual Jungle Party premier fundraiser. Visitors can enter zoo grounds from 9:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and can remain on grounds until 4:00 p.m. The North Gate off N. 59th St. & Phinney Ave. N., the main loop path (from the Pony Ring to the North Gate restrooms), and the Pony Ring will be closed all day. Visitors may enter the zoo through either the South Gate at N. 50th St. & Fremont Ave. N. or the West Gate at N. 55th St. & Phinney Ave. N. Additionally, the North Gate parking lot will close at noon. Guests are welcome to park at the North Gate parking lot until noon, but must move their vehicles to the West or South Gate parking lots.

Zoo admission: Adult (13-64) $10; Child (3-12) $7; Toddler (0-2) Free. Seniors and disabled receive a discount and zoo members receive free zoo admission year-round.

Parking: $3.50. Parking is limited. Please call Metro at 206.553.3000 for bus service to the zoo.
