What:
Woodland Park Zoo is recruiting enthusiastic volunteers to work in one of its most popular exhibits, the Family Farm Contact Area. If you like farm animals and interaction with people, this is a wonderful opportunity for late spring, summer and fall.

You will teach people about common domestic farm animals as well as unusual breeds, including Nigerian dwarf goats and Sicilian donkeys, while providing hands-on encounters for zoo visitors.

Volunteers must be at least 14, be available to work a regular shift of four hours per week throughout the summer, and successfully complete a training program.

When:
Anyone interested in signing up is required to attend an overview on Sunday, April 18, from noon to 1:00 p.m.

Where:
The overview will be held at Woodland Park Zoo's ARC, located near the West Gate at N. 55th St. & Phinney Ave. N.

Info:
Call Paula Eggertsen at 206-684-4021 for sign-ups or more information. For more information about other volunteer programs at the zoo, visit www.zoo.org or call 206-684-4800.
