What: Join acclaimed photographer Kennan Ward for his slide-illustrated lecture, “The Last Wilderness, Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.” Ward will discuss his encounters with polar bears and share his stunning photos of these beautiful giants of the North.

Adventurer-naturalist Ward photographs and writes about wilderness and wildlife. He has dedicated his life to capturing rare forms of nature on film and continues to explore remote regions of the world to bring back messages of uncommon beauty. Ward’s work has been published in books and calendars and featured in many national and international magazines, including Alaska, BBC Wildlife, Greenpeace, National Geographic World and many more.
