SEATTLE - Show how much you care and support conservation efforts of Woodland Park Zoo by purchasing a holiday adoption package from the Zoo Parent Animal Adoption Program for your child or anyone who loves animals. Funds from the Zoo Parent go toward the care and support of the zoo’s animals, conservation projects all over the world and education programs. Each special $49 holiday adoption package includes: a personalized adoption certificate; a Hansa the elephant plush toy; a beautiful color photo of your chosen animal; a Zoo Parent t-shirt (available in adult large only); Zoo Parent window cling sticker; one year’s subscription to @thezoo magazine (a quarterly publication of Woodland Park Zoo.); and an invitation for two to the annual Zoo Parent reunion. Some of the animals available for adoption are: African elephant; gray wolf; Malayan sun bear; western lowland gorilla; Sumatran tiger; bald eagle; peregrine falcon; Komodo dragon and many more.
