What:
We dare you to spend Halloween at Woodland Park Zoo this year — that
is, if you're brave enough! Fear not, a thousand illuminated pumpkins will
guide you and your family through a spooktacular night of trick-or-treating
and fun-filled activities. Highlights include themed carved pumpkin displays, "Sweet
Stations" with treats for your little goblins, special effects, a spooky
tree and more. Trick-or-treaters are encouraged to wear costumes!
All
animal exhibits will be closed with the exception of “Bug” World.
When:
Pumpkin Prowl takes place over three howling nights: Friday-Sunday,
October 24, 25, 26 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Two different time slots are
offered per ticket: 5:00 to 6:45 p.m. and 7:15 to 9:00 p.m. Gates close
at 9:00 p.m. Event ends at 9:30 p.m.

Woodland Park Zoo’s South Gate Plaza and Family Farm at N. 50th
St. & Fremont Ave. N.
Cost:
$7 for adults (18 and up); $5 for children (3-17); free for children 2
and under. Beginning October 1, advance tickets are available at Woodland
Park Zoo and at ticketweb.com with a $1 service fee per ticket
and a $1 fee per order. Prices are for zoo members and non-zoo members
alike as this is an after-hours fundraising event. Rain or shine event.

Parking:
Free parking is available at any zoo lot. Free shuttles will transport
visitors from the zoo’s North Gate and West Gate lots to the South
Gate. Note: Strollers will not be permitted inside the event. Free stroller
parking will be provided. Please do not bring flashlights, your own carved
pumpkins, balls, balloons, Frisbees, toy guns or other toy weapons. Snacks
and hot beverages will be available for sale.
