What/When/Were:
Woodland Park Zoo’s Wildlife Adventures Travel Program offers affordable and exciting opportunities to encounter animals in the wild, explore exotic destinations and experience local cultures. Guided by experienced zoo staff and other local wildlife experts, Wildlife Adventures introduces travelers to scientists engaged in field research and conservation activities. Next year’s trips are:

  • February 25-March 13, 2004 - India: Wild and Wonderful
  • April 16-28, 2004 - Galapagos Natural History Voyage
  • June 16-26, 2004 - Natural Newfoundland and Legendary Labrador
  • July 14-25, 2004 - Costa Rica Family Adventure
  • October 1-15, 2004 - Tanzania
  • November 7-12, 2004 - Polar Bears by Land and Air

Each Wildlife Adventure features a pre-trip education program series to prepare you for your adventure. Enjoy the adventure of a lifetime and share your commitment to conservation through ecotourism with Woodland Park Zoo. The pre-trip lectures scheduled so far are:

  • September 18, 2003 - India: Wild and Wonderful
  • September 24, 2003 - Costa Rica Family Adventure
  • October 1, 2003 - Natural Newfoundland and Legendary Labrador
  • October 23, 2003 - Galapagos Natural History Voyage
