What:
Woodland Park Zoo and The Washington Rare Plant Care and Conservation
Program are teaming up to bring you Celebrating Wildflowers, an event
that promotes conservation and enjoyment of native plants in their native
habitats and in national forests. Information about rare wildflowers
and games and activities for all ages are offered such as: wildflower
coloring pages; conifer identification by its cones; a pollinator game;
leaf rubbing; a wildflower stamp safari; and much more.
When:
Saturday, June 7, 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Where:
Celebrating Wildflowers will be held in a covered structure behind Woodland Park
Zoo’s Butterflies & Blooms. Enter through the Butterflies & Blooms
Conservation Garden near the West Gate at N. 55th St. & Phinney Ave.

Cost:
Free with zoo admission. Zoo members receive free zoo admission year-round.
Admission ranges from free for toddlers to $10.00 for adults; King
County residents receive a discount.
