Woodland Park Zoo seeks Event Service volunteers

WHAT:
Woodland Park Zoo is recruiting volunteers for its new Event Service program. Event Service volunteers will provide general support at zoo special events by assisting staff and greeting and assisting event participants. Major zoo events include: Bunny Bounce; Mom & Me; Washington Mutual ZooTunes; Pumpkin Prowl and more. Volunteers must be at least 18, attend a mandatory orientation and training, and must commit to at least 12 hours annually to assist with major events at the zoo. Events are typically held on weekends or weeknights. To learn more about this program and how to get involved, be sure to attend the Event Service Volunteer Overview. RSVP directly to concerts@zoo.org. RSVPs are mandatory. After completing the overview, volunteers will be required to attend a mandatory training session.

Overview: Wednesday, April 23, 6:00-7:30 p.m.
Training session:
Saturday, May 3, 4:00- 6:00 p.m.
