What:
The 2003 Chairman's Conservation Dinner celebrates global conservation
efforts and conservation achievements of Woodland Park Zoo. The event
will feature special guests Steve Curwood, Host and Executive Producer
of NPR's Living On Earth, and Mambawe Manauno, WPZ's 2003 Conservation
Award Recipient who has successfully worked to protect 50,000 acres of
rainforest in his native land of Papua New Guinea.
When:
Thursday, March 20
General reception: 6:30 p.m.
Sit-down dinner and program: 7:30 p.m.
Where:
Four Seasons Olympic Hotel, Downtown Seattle
Cost:
There is a $125 per person plate fee and a request to contribute to the
zoo's annual efforts, supporting WPZ's conservation and education programs
and world-class animal care.
