What:
Hear renowned conservationist, author, and chief scientist for World
Wildlife Fund, Dr. Eric Dinerstein, speak about the recovery of large
mammals and the bold, uncompromising leadership that is tugging these
extraordinary animals back from the brink of extinction. In an age
when wildlife scientists also become politicians, educators, and
activists in order to safeguard the creatures they study, Dinerstein’s
inspiring story offers a ray of hope for saving large mammals across
the globe. His diverse research has ranged from old-growth forests
in the Pacific Northwest, to snow leopards in India, to the greater
one-horned rhinoceros.
