What:
Woodland Park Zoo is currently recruiting volunteer zoo ambassadors - enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated individuals who enjoy working with people, like to learn about the natural world, and are committed to the cause of wildlife conservation. Zoo ambassadors greet zoo visitors, provide suggestions for a meaningful and fun zoo visit, and help out at special zoo events.

After serving as a zoo ambassador for a minimum of three months, volunteers have the option of training for the docent program. Zoo docents, or volunteer educators, teach people of all ages about wildlife and habitat. Activities may include leading tours, presenting animal programs to the public and staffing hands-on learning displays.
