Lecture - Jaguars and Pumas of the Rain Forest: Uncovering the Cryptic Big Cats of Belize

What:
Dr. Scott Silver is a leader in understanding jaguar habitat needs in the rain forest. Come hear how his highly successful jaguar survey has produced critical information about one of the most important jaguar strongholds left in the world. Only by understanding jaguars and what they need in their habitats can we find a way for jaguars and people to coexist.

When:
Wednesday, December 3, 7:30 p.m.
Reception: 7:00 p.m.

Woodland Park Zoo’s Auditorium near the zoo’s South Gate at N. 50th St. & Fremont Ave. N. Parking is free.

Tickets can be purchased at the ZooStore, by phone at 206-684-4843, or on the zoo’s Web site at Fall Lecture Series. Prices are $8 per lecture or $29 for the series of four lectures. Zoo members receive the special discount of $7 per lecture or $26 for the series.
