What:
Effective
August 1, 2002, Woodland Park Zoo will increase its general admission
rate by $.50. King County residents receive a $.75 to $1.00 discount and
zoo members receive free admission year-round. The zoo offers one of the
best family attraction bargains in the region. Seattle City Council approved
the increase last year.
New rates:
Adult (18-64) $10.00; Senior (65+) and Student with ID $9.25; Youth (6-17)
and Disabled $7.50; Preschool (3-5) $5.75; Toddler (0-2) Free. King County
residents: Adult (18-64) $9.00; Senior (65+) and Student with ID $8.25;
Youth (6-17) and Disabled $6.75; Preschool (3-5) $4.75; Toddler (0-2)
Free.
Parking $3.50.
When:
Fee increase begins August 1, 2002.

Woodland Park Zoo, 5500 Phinney Ave. N. South Gate: N. 50th St. &
Fremont Ave. N.
West Gate: N. 55th St. & Phinney Ave. N. North Gate: off N. 59th St.

Hours:
Zoo opens at 9:30 a.m. daily, 365 days of the year. Closing times vary:
6:00 p.m. May 1 through September 14; 5:00 p.m. March 15 through April
30; 5:00 p.m. September 15 through October 14; 4:00 p.m. October 15 through
March 14.
